Assistant Head Coach
Assistant Head Coach Kai Rozet. Coach Kai has been with us since day (1) and has been a huge part in the development of Nakamura Wrestling. Coach Kai runs our Strength and Conditioning for our wrestlers. He was also a couple time Keiki State Wrestling Champion and an All-Star Running Back for St. Anthony High School.
Assistant Coach
Assistant Coach Kevin Grant. He has over 30 years of coaching experience under his belt and is the Head Coach of Maui Tiger Style, Iao Intermediate, and Baldwin Girls Wrestling. Coach Grant is on the USA Wrestling Hawaii Board and has been a major part of Nakamura Wrestling. He is also an US Masters National Champ!
Assistant Coach
Assistant Coach Nalu Scott aka “Nalu Bear 🐻 “. Coach Nalu has been with us for a couple years and was a Hawaii State Medalist. He is also a US National Masters All-American in Greco Roman and is still actively competing in both Olympic Styles. He drives from Hana daily to give back by coaching our wrestlers.
Assistant Coach
Assistant Coach Piikea Eastling was a 4x Hawaii State Wrestling Medalist, 3x Finalist, and a State Champion. She took 3rd twice at Fargo, and 2nd at Folkstyle Nationals. Coach Pii went on to wrestle in college and trained at the Olympic Training Center where she was a Senior National All-American and 4th at the WTT.
